Meet Our Team

Lisa Seggelke

Ever since she was a child, Miss Lisa has had an interest in school and education, recalling when she would request addition workbooks from her teachers and play school at home. She attended Cal State Los Angeles, has her BA in Child Development and her MA in Early Childhood Education. Miss Lisa also holds a multi-subject teaching credential and is working to obtain her Child Development Program Director Permit. Before becoming the Director at EEP she worked as a teacher for 17 years. She lives on the border of LA and Orange County with her husband and step-daughter, and spends her free-time hiking, traveling, and dancing.

Nancy Shively
Transitional Director

Our Transitional Director, Miss Nancy, has lead the staff of EEP since 1996, and has worked in childcare since 1977. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from CSUF, and her Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Miss Nancy has chosen to take her leave as our team leader to persue her new calling as a Chaplain at St. Jude's Medical Center. She is still frequently present on campus helping Miss Lisa transition into her position. Her granddaughters are alumni of EEP, and she has come to be occasionally referred to by students as "Grammy Nancy." Miss Nancy resides in Anaheim with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her three grown sons, and other family in the area.

Michelle Bedoy

Miss Michelle attributes her desire to work with kids to her being the oldest of five children. She studied Child Development and Education at Fullerton Junior College and CSUF. She received her Associates Degree, and has her Child Development Master Teacher Permit. Miss Michelle has been part of the EEP team for 13 years and has a total of 18 years of experience in the field, and currently teaches our 3 to 4 year old class. She attributes her years here to the safe, trusting, supportive, family-like environment. She is bilingual English and Spanish. Much of her free time is spent reading, or hiking with her husband, daughter, and two stepchildren.

Olga Messinas

Ever since she was a young girl, Miss Olga has always loved caring for young children. When she first entered the field of child care about 10 years ago she worked with infants from 6 weeks of age, up to 1 year old. Miss Olga started her career at Emmanuel Episcopal Preschool as a Teacher Aide for Miss Michelle's class. She went on to receive her education in Child Development and is now teaching our 2 year old class. She has a passion for art and always has hands-on projects planned for her students. Miss Olga's focus with her young students is teaching them that they are important and it is important to have respect not only for adults, but for themselves and their friends. She describes the atmoshere of EEP as "familia." She immigrated with her parents from Mexico and is a fluent Spanish speaker. She has lived in Orange County for 17 years. Miss Olga and her husband have two children, and have two young granddaughters.

Kristine Shepherd

Miss Kristine is no stranger to our classrooms, as all three of her grown sons were preschool students with us. She has worked at schools within the Fullerton District for 13 years, including both Fern Drive and Golden Hill Elementary, as a playground supervisor and recreation aide. Miss Kristine came to work at EEP after interviewing our previous Director, Nancy Shively, as part of her Child Development study at Fullerton Junior College and Miss Nancy encouraged her to apply for a position. She joined the EEP team in Fall 2017. Miss Christine calls Fullerton home, with her husband of 25 years and three sons. Baseball is her favorite pastime, watching the Angels, Dodgers, and her youngest son’s team play as often as she can. She also enjoys walking for exercise with her dog, Shadow.
